The Venue
A modern approach for a timeless wedding
The Elm Estate is Reno’s hidden gem, combining exquisite design and dedicated hospitality to bring event visions to life. As a scenic escape on historic farmland, situated along the Truckee River and at the base of the Sierras’ eastern slope, our property is conveniently located near downtown Reno and Interstate 80 yet feels like a remote destination. Our lush and elegant venue offers the historic Elm House with a state-of-the-art kitchen, a wrap-around deck designed for hosting, a 300-person capacity event space, four bars, catering bays, billiards room, a bridal lounge, on-site cottages for overnight stay, and more. And with custom event guidance and personable service, we bring visions to life.

The Deck
Say “I do” on the deck of the Elm house, giving an elevated experience for the ceremony. This location also offers a beautiful backdrop when the sun is setting.
The Green
From the Green, you can see the entirety of the property with its mountain backdrop. This location also has two elm trees that frame the ceremony site and help center the attention on the bride and groom.
The Corner
For smaller weddings, this site provides a quaint setting to enhance the simplicity and intimacy of your ceremony.
The East
This site highlights the white brick on the front side of the Elm House, and also features two big trees that frame the front of the house.
The Elm House
Luxurious Bridal Suite
The Elm House offers a perfect backdrop for capturing your special moments. This 1880’s farmhouse features whitewashed walls, clean lines, and ornate details to elevate your special day. Relax in our lush bridal lounge with your bridal party before the ceremony.
The Billiard Room
Relax in style
The Billiard Room is a luxury entertainment suite for you and your guests. With a sleek and modern atmosphere, including a pool table, TV, and wet bar, we invite you for friendly competition and cocktails. Custom whiskey and cigar lounge available upon request.
Custom Bar
Your drinks, your way
You can customize your bar experience, including additional bar enhancements for you and your guests to indulge in, and can even host it (or a portion of it) yourself. All of our cocktails are homemade and skillfully mixed for your drinking preference.
