This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and to visitors of the Site regarding information they share with, or that is collected by, The Elm Estate through the Site. It does not apply to information collected offline or through channels other than the Site.

You may opt in to receive text messages from The Elm Estate through any of the following forms on this Site: the Weddings inquiry form, the Corporate Events inquiry form, the Family Events inquiry form, or our general Contact Us form. At the point of submission, each of these forms presents two separate, unchecked checkboxes:

  • Transactional messages — “I consent to receive text messages about my inquiry, reminders, transactions, and alerts.” Checking this box authorizes messages related to your inquiry, including tour confirmations, appointment reminders, and replies to your questions.

We send marketing or promotional text messages only to contacts who check this second box. Checking the transactional box alone does not enroll you in marketing messages, and you may check either box, both, or neither.

Neither checkbox is selected by default, and consent to either program is never a condition of doing business with us by any other means.

Your mobile number is shared only with the SMS platform provider we use to send messages on our behalf, solely for that purpose. We retain your mobile number only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or to fulfill an active marketing opt-in, or until you opt out — after which it is removed from active messaging lists within our platform’s standard retention window.
