I love wine, but wine dinners can be a little bit boring. Don’t get me wrong, it is fantastic to drink some great wine paired with some perfectly prepared food, but all the dinners start melding into each other and you forget if you’re still talking about terroir or if you’ve moved on to bouquet.
When we decided to do a wine dinner, we wanted to make sure that it would be unlike events you have attended before. First step – partner up with my friends Jeff and Mary Stai of Twisted Oak Winery. Jeff (El Jefe) can make a lukewarm Bud Light at a dive bar into the most fun you’ve ever had, and he’s coming out to talk with everyone about his babies (the wines, not the other ones). Maybe if we are lucky he’ll bring a rubber chicken! You can check out his winery here: https://www.facebook.com/twistedoak/
Our Spanish-inspired five-course wine pairing dinner with Twisted Oak Winery and Roundabout Grill on February 9 is our take on the anti-Valentine’s Day celebration. A social celebration of fun instead of a terror of reservations, parking, and faked romance, we hope you’ll join us for a grand party together.
Flamenco guitarist Milton Merlos will play to accompany dinner, then he will be our DJ while we get out on the dance floor to continue the fun!
Tickets are available online through February 6. Advance ticket purchase only. $125 per guest. Tables available for groups of ten or more. Limited seating available.
